Recently, China Railway Construction Port and Navigation Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and China Shipbuilding Corporation No. 708 Research Institute formally signed a design contract for a 4,000-ton full-turn crane vessel in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Wang Yongdong, Deputy General Manager of China Railway Construction Port and Navigation Bureau Group Co., Ltd., Zhen Yisheng, Minister of Equipment and Materials Department, and Li Xiaoping, Deputy Director of the No. 708 Research Institute attended the signing ceremony of the design contract.

The 4,000-ton azimuth crane vessel is the second cooperation between China Railway Construction Port and Navigation Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and the No. 708 Research Institute following the successful delivery of the "Tiejian Wind Power 01" wind power installation ship in 2019. At the signing ceremony, Deputy Manager Wang Yongdong and Deputy Director Li Xiaoping both stated that they would work together to build a 4,000-ton slew crane ship into a benchmark project like "Tiejian Wind Power 01", in order to achieve the "30·60" carbon peak. , contribute to the great goal of carbon neutrality.

The 4,000-ton slewing crane vessel is a steel, fully welded self-propelled crane vessel with a streamlined bow, rounded corners in the longitudinal direction of the stern and the bilge, a bilge keel, a living building at the bow, and a smooth working deck in the middle. The stern is equipped with an azimuth rotary crane, the maximum lifting capacity of the fixed stern is 4,000 tons, and the azimuth lifting capacity is 3,000 tons. It is equipped with an 8-point mooring positioning system and a DP-1 dynamic positioning system. The ship can adapt to all the complex sea conditions in the South China Sea, East China Sea and other Chinese waters, meet the wind power construction in the distant sea area, and take into account the functional requirements of large-scale deep-water bridge construction. Wind power construction is mainly based on single-pile foundation construction and jacket installation for wind turbines of 12 MW and above, and has the ability to integrate steel pipe piles and jacket transportation.

Thanks to the strong support of national and local government policies, my country's offshore wind power market has developed rapidly in recent years. With the large-scale development of coastal wind farms in Guangdong and Fujian, key construction machinery suitable for deep-water and offshore blocks is currently in short supply. It has become one of the bottlenecks for the sustainable development of the offshore wind power industry in relevant regions. At the same time, in order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the offshore wind power industry, it is necessary to upgrade the construction method of offshore wind power, improve the operation efficiency, reduce the construction cost of a single machine, and build an offshore wind power construction crane vessel with a high degree of automation and strong operation ability. It is an urgent need to move towards offshore wind power construction, expand the industrial chain, and enhance core competitiveness.

After the 4,000-ton slewing crane ship is completed, it will be put into offshore wind power construction projects, mainly for single pile construction and jacket hoisting, paving the way for China Railway Construction Port and Navigation Bureau to enter the offshore wind power installation market, and will become China The main equipment of the Railway Construction Port and Navigation Bureau to expand the wind power installation market and increase the influence of the wind power market is an important guarantee for the safe and high-quality completion of construction tasks. At the same time, it can also be used as a large offshore crane to provide support and guarantee for the sustainable development of the main industry of China Railway Construction Port and Navigation Bureau.
