On July 8, the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Construction of Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Generation Projects in 2021." The "Notice" stated that the province will strive to achieve a total installed capacity of more than 63 million kilowatts of wind power and photovoltaic power generation by 2025.

(According to the "Notice", by the end of 2020, the cumulative installed capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in Jiangsu Province will be 15.47 million kilowatts and 16.84 million kilowatts respectively. According to calculations, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Jiangsu Province will add 30.69 million kilowatts of wind power and photovoltaic power. above.)

According to the "Notice", during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Jiangsu Province will further optimize the structure of wind power, photovoltaic power generation, especially wind power, focus on the development of offshore wind power and photovoltaic power generation, and strictly control new onshore wind power projects.

The development and reform commissions of all districts and cities must accurately grasp the key points of the province's wind power and photovoltaic power generation development, especially in coastal areas, to fully promote the large-scale development of offshore wind power, and to steadily carry out deep-sea offshore wind power demonstration construction.

The projects included in the provincial offshore wind power planning approved and approved by the National Energy Administration will be uniformly organized at the provincial level on a yearly basis for competitive allocation and automatically included in the scope of guaranteed grid connection.

Wind power projects that have been approved before December 31, 2020 and within the validity period of the approval, low-price wind power and photovoltaic projects in 2019 and 2020, and bidding photovoltaic projects are directly included in the scope of provincial guaranteed grid-connected projects.

Among them, parity wind power and photovoltaic projects must be implemented in strict accordance with relevant notices. Wind power projects must be connected to the grid before the end of 2022, and photovoltaic power generation projects must be connected to the grid before the end of 2021. Parity projects that are not connected to the grid within the prescribed time limit will no longer be included. The province guarantees the scope of grid connection.
