Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Energy Bureau issued the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" Renewable Energy Development Special Plan in Jiangsu Province (Draft for Solicitation of Comments).

It is clear that the solar energy resources will be fully utilized. By the end of 2025, the province's installed photovoltaic power generation capacity will reach 26 million kilowatts. Among them, the installed capacity of distributed and centralized photovoltaic power generation reached 12GW and 14GW respectively.

According to documented investment estimates, by 2025, Jiangsu Province will add about 11 million kilowatts of wind power. The new investment is about 120 billion yuan, of which about 8 million kilowatts will be added to offshore wind power, and the new investment will be about 100 billion yuan. 9 million kilowatts, new investment is about 30 billion yuan. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Jiangsu's new renewable energy installed capacity was about 22 million kilowatts, and the new investment was about 163 billion yuan.

This means that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, photovoltaic and wind power will have 2GW and 2.2GW of installed capacity each year.

Jiangsu is the province with the largest scale of offshore wind power development. According to relevant data, as of the end of June this year, the grid-connected capacity of wind power in Jiangsu Province was 11.1 million kilowatts, which had completed the goals and tasks set in the 13th Five-Year Plan ahead of schedule. Among them, the installed capacity of offshore wind power is 4.64 million kilowatts, accounting for 70% of the country's total.
