On February 24, 2023, the sixth meeting of the first council of China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE (hereinafter referred to as "the Branch") was successfully held in Sheraton Shanghai Jiading Hotel. The leaders and representatives of the branch council members attended the meeting.

As a national industry association focusing on offshore wind power engineering technology, the Branch has made solid and heavy achievements in the past year by bridging the exchange of talents, technology and business cooperation in the wind power industry and providing organizational services to strengthen the management and technological innovation in the offshore wind power engineering industry.

The meeting was hosted by the Secretary General of the China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE. At the beginning of the meeting, the secretary-general made the annual work report of the branch for 2022 on behalf of the council.

The report showed that the task of the council is to promote the common sharing of resources in the wind power industry, including some engineering experience and exchange, whether from the technical or industry layout. The chapter should strengthen the synergy of member units, timely and accurately grasp the demands of members, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.

The meeting voted to appoint Mr. Bi Yaxiong as the honorary chairman of China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE and other proposals.

In the second item of the meeting, the representatives expressed their views on the development of offshore wind power industry and the construction of the branch. The directors expressed that they would always insist on gathering wisdom for the continuous progress of offshore wind power technology, gathering strength for the healthy development of offshore wind power industry, strengthening close cooperation in the industry, promoting industrial technology innovation and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of wind power industry in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the president of China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE expressed his vision for future work and said that he would fully cooperate and complete the work of the branch in the next year, and the participating units highly recognized the spirit of the meeting and the service concept of the branch, and the meeting was successfully completed.
