In recent years, with the intensification of global climate change and the urgency of energy transformation, China has put forward the goal of " double carbon. " In this context, floating offshore wind power has received extensive attention as an emerging form of clean energy.

The China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE, the National Engineering Technology Research Center for Wind Power, and the Wenzhou Municipal People 's Government jointly organized the " 2023 Offshore Floating Wind Power Conference " in Shangri-La Hotel, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province from July 28 to 29,2023.

The conference will focus on the planning and development of offshore wind power in the deep sea, the survey and design of floating offshore wind power, the key technologies of pneumatic-hydrodynamic-control, engineering construction and other fields, and invite domestic and foreign senior floating offshore wind power experts, scholars and entrepreneurs to jointly discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry, share the latest research results and innovative ideas, and help the industry develop and cooperate.

2022 China Offshore Floating Wind Power Conference

On July 16,2022, ' 2022 China Offshore Floating Wind Power Conference ' was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. The conference invited the Development and Reform Commission of Zhejiang Province, the Economic and Information Department and the Science and Technology Department as the guiding units, sponsored by the China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE and Wenzhou Municipa People 's Government, and hosted by Wenzhou Marine Economic Development Demonstration Zone Management Committee and Xinjiang Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd. The conference has achieved important results in the planning and development of offshore wind power in the deep sea and the survey and design of floating offshore wind power.

2021 First Offshore Floating Wind Power Conference

On April 10,2021, the China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE, together with CWEEA, Huaneng Group, State Power Investment Corporation, Three Gorges Group, Shanghai Institute, China Energy Construction Guangdong Institute, China Power Construction East China Institute, Hainan Jinpan Technology and other units, held the ' First Offshore Floating Wind Power Conference ' in Haikou City, Hainan Province. The conference focused on the development of floating industry, industry trends, engineering technology, project experience, cost reduction and efficiency increase of floating offshore wind power.
