Structure Design and Construction Symposium was successfully held in Nantong,
Jiangsu Province. This meeting was jointly organized by the China Offshore Wind
Association, affiliated to CAOE , the National Engineering Technology Research
Center for Wind Power, Nantong Ocean Water Conservancy Engineering Co., Ltd., GOLDWIND
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Experts, scholars and entrepreneurs in the
field of offshore wind power from all over the country gathered together to
conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on cutting-edge technical problems
such as offshore wind power support structure design, foundation type, pile-sliding
and hammer-rejecting, explore innovative breakthrough directions, and work
together to promote offshore wind power technology progress and industrial
upgrading.
The
opening speech session was presided over by Zhai Endi, Secretary General of China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE and Director of National Engineering Technology Research Center for Wind Power,
Cai Shaokuan, President of the China Offshore Wind Association, affiliated to CAOE, and Huang Guoliang, General Manager of Nantong Ocean Water Conservancy Engineering Co., Ltd.
Cai
Shaokuan said in his speech that in recent years, with the advancement of the
national renewable energy strategy and the goal of " carbon peak and
carbon neutrality, " China 's offshore wind power has developed rapidly,
and the scale of offshore wind power grid pile machines has continued to
increase. Offshore wind power will become an important strategic supporting
basic industry for China 's clean energy transformation and development and
ensuring national energy supply security. However, the natural environment of
offshore wind power support structure is harsh, which brings serious challenges
to the safety of offshore wind power support structure. It is hoped that the
whole industry colleagues will work together to make China 's offshore wind
power industry a strategic emerging industry that can release huge economic and
social benefits.
