6. The largest single machine in Asia! Domestic self-developed 13MW offshore wind turbine successfully rolled off the production line

On February 22, the 13-megawatt typhoon-resistant offshore wind turbine independently developed by China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd. with completely independent intellectual property rights was successfully rolled off the line in Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park. The wind turbine with the largest single-unit capacity and the largest impeller diameter in Asia is also the first 13-megawatt wind turbine off the assembly line in my country.

The 13-megawatt offshore wind turbine adopts a customized anti-typhoon strategy developed by Dongfang Electric Group, which can withstand a super typhoon of 77 m/s and is suitable for 98% of my country's sea areas. The blades matched with the unit use the carbon fiber pultrusion process for the first time, breaking through a series of problems in the development of 100-meter-level ultra-long flexible blades. The length of a single blade is 103 meters, setting a new record for the longest wind power blade in my country; the pitch system adopts the industry's first innovative blade. The dual-drive electric pitch system has redundant design functions, high safety and good reliability; the generator capacity covers a wide range, the wind energy utilization rate is high, the operation is reliable, and the maintenance cost is low.
