A few days ago, with the installation of the last wind turbine completed, the main part of the domestic offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity contracted by the East China Institute-Jiangsu Qidong Offshore Wind Farm has been completed, providing for the construction of large-scale and large-scale wind farms in the post-wind power era. Promotion template.

The project is located on the north side of the Yangtze River estuary in Qidong City, Jiangsu. The center of the site is about 40 kilometers offshore, with a total installed capacity of 802 MW. It consists of three independently approved wind power projects H1, H2, and H3. A total of 134 wind power generators with 7 models from 4 manufacturers have been installed. It is currently the domestic offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity and the most diverse model configuration.

The three wind farms of H1, H2 and H3 each independently build a 220kV sea booster station, and jointly build an onshore centralized control center. It is my country's first "three-station-in-one" offshore wind farm. At the same time, this project is the country's first large-scale promotion and application of impressed current, and it is a friendly exploration for marine environmental protection.

During the construction of the project, faced with multiple challenges such as large swells in the sea, complex geological conditions, short construction windows during monsoon and typhoon periods, domestic offshore wind power "rush installation tides" and tight construction schedules under normalized epidemic prevention and control, the East China Institute coordinated and organized Deploying and scientifically deploying resources, strictly controlling quality, progress and safety, created records for offshore wind power projects such as "Completing 14 single-pile sinking by a single ship in a single month" and "Completing 31 wind turbine installations in a single month".

After the project is connected to the grid for power generation, it is estimated that the annual on-grid power will be 2.2 billion kWh, which can save 766,000 tons of standard coal annually compared with thermal power.

The reduction of 1.469 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions is of great significance for promoting the adjustment of local industrial structure and helping to achieve the goal of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality".
