4. The main part of the first tender section of the offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity in my country is completed!

On October 30, the last wind turbine of the Qidong H3 offshore wind power project undertaken by the China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Administration was successfully installed, marking the successful completion of the main part of the first bid section of the offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity in my country.

The project relies on the most advanced self-propelled self-elevating wind power installation vessel "Tiejian Wind Power 01". During the construction process, the project department adopted a single pile turning tongs improvement plan to solve the problem of sinking large diameter and ultra-long steel pipe piles in offshore wind power. It is difficult to turn over during the pile process and the risk is relatively high; the improved solution of the large-diameter single-pile turning pliers for offshore wind power is used to solve the difficult problem of turning over the steel pipe pile during the pile sinking process; through an impeller group pairing method with blades crossing the ship deck, Each fan saves more than 6 hours of installation time; the method of adding a pile end connecting plate inside the steel pipe pile greatly reduces the risk of pile sliding.

It is reported that after the completion of the project, the annual on-grid power will reach 2.2 billion kWh, which will exceed half of Qidong’s annual power consumption. Compared with traditional coal power, it can save 730,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.628 million tons. Reduced 1.441 million tons of smoke and dust emissions, and reduced corresponding waste water emissions. The social and environmental benefits are obvious, and it contributes to the construction of the iron construction force for the green and low-carbon transition of the energy structure of Jiangsu Province and the realization of the national "carbon peak" and "carbon neutral" strategic goals.

6. Mingyang Intelligent won another European offshore wind power machine order

Recently, Mingyang Intelligent has won another European offshore wind power order, responsible for providing 11MW semi-direct-drive offshore wind turbines for a floating project. This is the second wind turbine supply contract that Mingyang has won in the European market after the Beleoico project order in Italy, and it is also the second offshore wind turbine order for a Chinese complete machine manufacturer in Europe.

The project is an offshore floating wind power pilot project developed by a well-known European offshore wind power developer in Nordic waters. As for the specific names of the developer and the project, Mingyang has not disclosed yet. The project plans to start installation in 2023.

Mingyang stated that floating wind power has proven to be a feasible solution for the development and utilization of offshore wind energy resources. The project will accumulate experience in the application of Mingyang’s 11MW Hybrid Drive technology in floating systems in the European deep-sea area, and also its follow-up. Lay the foundation for deployment in Europe.
